Passed away peacefully at Muskoka Landing in Huntsville on February 9, 2022, he was in his 84th year.  Beloved husband of the late Lily Leora Bekesi (nee Schmeler).  Cherished father of Janet Carlsen.  Proud grandfather of Rakel Carlsen, Robert Bekesi and great-grandfather of Leora  Gray.  Cremation has taken place at Forest Lawn Crematorium.  A graveside service to celebrate Robert’s life will be held at a later date.  If desired donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be gratefully acknowledged as expression of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to Opatovsky Funeral Home- Moore Chapel 9 Paget Street Sundridge.
