Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, he was in his 72nd year.  Beloved husband of Marcia Joiner (nee Scully).  Cherished father of Chris Joiner (Kim) and Scott Joiner (Brieanne).  Proud grandfather of Brett, Haileigh, Brooklyn, Matthew, Ella and Sydney.  Sadly missed by his brother Peter Joiner (partner Sharon Murison) and predeceased by his parents Harold & Hazel Joiner.
Family will receive friends at the Opatovsky Funeral Home- Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls on Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 6-8 pm and on Friday, September 16, 2022 at the Sprucedale United Church 2415 ON-518 in Sprucedale from 11am until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 pm.  If desired, donations to the Sprucedale United Church would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
