GLEN ROBERT WHITFIELD
Of Sundridge

Suddenly at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Saturday August 6, 2022.  Glen Whitfield, beloved husband of Kathy, was in his 67th year.
Dear father of Jim, Cody and Delaney Whitfield.
Proud grandfather of 3 cherished grandsons: Isaac, Jacob, and Liam.
Loving son of Eunice and the late Lloyd Whitfield.
Survived by siblings: Elgin (Melanie), Wayne (Laurie), Marlita (Mike), Alan, Sheldon (Andrea) and Jeff (Suanne).
Glen is the adored uncle of many nieces and nephews.  He was kind, caring, an avid outdoorsman and dedicated family man.  Glen was always very focused on others and gave of himself freely; he will be greatly missed by his family, many friends, and colleagues.
The family will receive visitors at the Sundridge Church of Christ, 10500 Hwy 124 in Sundridge on Thursday August 11, 2022, from 11 am until 1 pm. A service to celebrate Glen’s life will follow in the church commencing at 1:00 pm.  The service will be live streamed from the church on their YouTube Channel: Sundridge Church of Christ, tagged Glen Whitfield Celebration of life.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Ronald McDonald House in Hamilton or the Great Lakes Christian High School in Beamsville would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel in Sundridge.
