Gail Ticknor

Peacefully at Spencer House in Orillia on Friday July 15, 2022.  Gail, beloved wife of the late Murray Ticknor was in her 79th year.
Loving mother of Rick (Linda), Ron (Linda) and Tim (Corry).
Proud grandmother of Richard, Wendi-Ann, Jeffrey, Christopher, Michelle, Cayle, Tanner, Emilina, Jeremy, Justin and many great-grandchildren.
Gail is predeceased by her parents William and Beatrice; brothers Jim & Robert Fleming and will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A service to celebrate Gail’s life will be conducted at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls on Monday August 29, 2022 commencing at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend David Woodall officiating. Cremation has taken place and Gail’s ashes will be interred in the Burk’s Falls Cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Burk’s Falls Community Bus (cheques made payable to the Village of Burk’s Falls) would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
