MRS. GERTIE HART Of Katrine Peacefully at her residence in Katrine on Thursday January 23, 2014 in her 110th year. Gertie Hart (nee Stoner), beloved wife of the late Alf Hart. Dear mother of Bruce Hart (Jean), Elwood Hart (Florence) and Doreen Innis. Loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her special friend Diane, many nieces, nephews and friends in the area. Predeceased by daughter Shirley Swan (late Bob) grandsons Craig Hart and Daniel Carty, 3 brothers and 1 sister. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Sunday January 26, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Gertie Hart will be conducted at the Katrine United Church on Monday January 27, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Peter Wyatt officiating. Spring interment at the St. Mark's Anglican Church Cemetery in Emsdale. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Katrine United Church would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
