Obituary

MR. EARL W. REEDS
of South River and formerly of Kearney

Peacefully at his home surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday June 3rd, 2020 at the age of 99.
Earl Reeds,  beloved husband of 62 years of Eleanor Reeds (nee Gore).
Loving dad of Kathy Vaillancourt (Richard), Debbie Kuiack (Kevin), Cindy Evers (Bruce), Lisa Gore and the late Patrick Gore.
Proud grandpa and grampie of grandchildren Melanie, Scott, Tori, Hailey, Jessica and great-grandchildren Tyler, Benjamin, Alexis, William and Allie Ray.
Predeceased by parents Sarah and Johnathan Reeds, siblings Clara , David , William, Howard, Mel, Lillian, Richard, Myrtle, Ethel, Murdock, Helen, Laura, twin sister Merril and son in law Paul Massey.
Our father did not tell us how to live, he showed us by example.
He will be fondly remembered for his kindness, patience, his unmeasurable love for his  family and affection of horses.
We will forever hold him close to our hearts. We were truly blessed  to have him in our lives each in a different way , a father, grandfather and husband and father in law.
Mom and dad had 62  years together and if either were asked they would say that it was not long enough.
Arrangements are being handled privately with the family and have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge.
If desired, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.

I thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
I thought of you yesterday and before that too.
Fly high dad till we meet again.
