Obituary

DOUGLAS H. LIDSTONE

Of Magnetawan

Suddenly at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Sunday February 21, 2021.
Doug is survived by his wife Julie Ferris and children Jayson (Jen) and Sara (Dale).
Proud grandfather of Ethan, Darien, Serena, Josh, Noa and brother of William (Peggy) and Lucy (Steve).
Doug will be fondly remembered  by his life long friend Harold (Cathy) and many other friends and family.

If I should die before the rest of you
Break not a flower nor inscribe a stone.
Nor, when I’m gone, speak in a Sunday voice,
But be the usual selves that I have known.
Weep if you must,
Parting is hell.
But life goes on,
So… sing as well

Private family arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Magnetawan Lion’s Club would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
