Brenda Wood

BRENDA WOOD (nee Cooper)
April 15, 1929 - March 10, 2021

It is with sadness that we announce the death of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother Brenda Wood (Cooper).
She died peacefully on March 10, 2021 at the age of 91 at Muskoka Shores Care Community, Bracebridge, Ontario.

Brenda was born on April 15, 1929 in York, England and immigrated to Canada in 1956.  She is predeceased by her husband James William Wood (2015).  Survived by her children Barry Wood, June Wood (Raymond Sitton), Heather (David)Thompson, Cindy Wood, Ron Wood and Bob (Cheryl) Wood.
Proud grandmother of Alex, Liam, Krista, Janis, Mike, Emily, Alison, Scott, Matthew, Tim and Meagan and great-grandmother of Leah, Ty and Abagail.

The family would like to extend its heartfelt thanks and appreciation to her personal caregivers at Muskoka Shores Care Community for their support and kindness given to Brenda during her stay.

A private family memorial will take place at a later date.

Private family arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home, Dempster Chapel, Burk’s Falls.
