William Robert Walker

Passed away peacefully at Muskoka Landing in Huntsville on Saturday, August 2, 2025, he was in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Walker (nee Russell). Cherished father of Stephen Walker (Lee) and predeceased by his daughter Deborah Walker. Proud grandfather of Stefanie (Mike), Michael (Krystal), great-grandfather of Jessica, Joshua, Lillyanne, Summer, Aiden, Elgin, Delilah, Charlie and great-great-grandfather of Sabina Walker-Trimble. Bill is predeceased by his siblings. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A service to celebrate Bill’s life will be held at the Knox Presbyterian Church on Main Street in Sundridge on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.  Family would like to thank the staff at the Sundridge – Strong Union Public Library for going above and beyond during Covid to make sure Bill had the newest book release to read every week. It meant the world to him and the family for the kindness during a difficult time for everyone. Arrangements entrusted to Opatovsky Funeral Home- Moore Chapel. If desired, donations to the Sundridge- Strong Union Public Library would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.

A graveside service for the interment of Bill and Patricia's ashes will be conducted in the Strong Cemetery in Sundridge on Saturday September 6, 2025 at 11am with Reverend Steven Smith officiating.
