William Ross Metcalf

Peacefully at home on Thursday September 17, 2026. Ross, beloved husband of the late Doris, was in his 102nd year.

Dear father of Joan Jenkins (Don), Susan Dyck (John), Jim Metchalf (Rebecca) and the late Albert and Bill (Jean) Metcalf.

Proud grandfather of many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survived by his sisters Velma Bourne, Pat Smith (Merv) and Eleanor Metcalf.

Ross will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. His story telling talents and love for this little dog Toby were legendary.

A graveside service will be conducted in the Burk’s Falls Cemetery on Friday October 23, 2026 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Rick Callery officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel in Burk’s Falls.

If desired, memorial donations to the War Amps would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
