William Craig Marshall

November 20, 1960 — September 20, 2025

Slave Lake AB and formerly of Emsdale ON

Peacefully passed away at Algonquin Grace Hospice on Saturday September 20, 2025. Craig was in his 65th year.

Dear son of Peggy and the late Hank Marshall.

Father of Kyle (Brandy), Laird and Spencer.

Beloved brother of Carolyn Brendstrup (Trig), Nancy Edson (Kent), Andy Marshall (Amy), Kent Marshall (Cheryl) and the late Janice Marshall.

Proud uncle of many nieces, nephews and their families.

Craig was a hardworking man who was dedicated to his career which had taken him across Canada and even into the States. He was so skilled at what he did and so greatly admired throughout his field he was even headhunted by several companies throughout his career. Craig's most recent position was with Tolko Industries in Slave Lake Albert where he made many good friends and will be greatly missed. Although much of his time was spent focused on work, his true passions lay with the outdoors from camping in Algonquin Park, to hunting but especially fishing. Craig always pursued a good time!

A celebration of Craig’s life at the Emsdale Community Center from 1 to 4 on Thursday October 2, 2025.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel in Burk’s Falls.

If desired, memorial donations to Hospice Huntsville would be sincerely appreciated by the family
