VIRGINIA MAY MORRISON "Ginny" Of Sundridge Peacefully at Eastholme in Powassan on Friday July 15, 2011 in her 87th year. Virginia Morrison (nee Glenn), beloved wife of the late Albert Morrison. Cherished mother of Nadean Harley (James Curran), Ric Morrison (Bobbie) and predeceased by son Gary Morrison (Marilyn). Loving grandmother of Thom, Glen, Terri-Lynn, Steven, Deric, Diana and great grandmother of 10. Dear friend of Don Parker. Fondly remembered by her card playing friends, choral group, seniors club and her many other family and friends in the area. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street, Sundridge on Sunday July 17, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Virginia Morrison will be conducted at the Knox Presbyterian Church, Sundridge on Monday July 18, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Doctor Walter Winger officiating. Interment at the Strong Cemetery, Sundridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Eastholme or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
