MRS. VENA LILLIE HAYWARD of South River Peacefully at Eastholme in Powassan on Saturday January 13, 2018 in her 103rd year. Vena Hayward (nee Pillsworth), beloved wife of the late Albert Hayward. Dear mother of Wayne (Anita) of New Jersey, Eunice Schneider (Dale) of South River, Bruce (Dorothy) of Thailand and Gordon (Glenda) of Georgia. Loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Cherished sister-in-law of Gladys Pillsworth. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Vena Hayward will be conducted at the South River Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 319 Tower Road in South River on Saturday September 8, 2018 at 2:30 P.M. with Pastor Oleg Zhigankov officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge. If desired, memorial donations to the South River Seventh Day Adventist Building Fund or ADRA Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
