Suddenly at home on Monday August 18, 2025. Tyson, loving and doting father of Easton Kennedy Whitehead was in his 32nd year.
Loving son and friend of Heather and Ward Whitehead. Loyal brother of Britton Whitehead (Rayissa).
Grandson of Don Sarginson (late Ruthann) and the late Stanley and Betty Whitehead.
Remembered by Easton’s mother, Cloe.
Cherished nephew of Michael (Wendy), Troy, Candace “Aunt Nan” (Shawn), Helen (late Morely), Bob, Eleanor (Tim), Stan (Joanne).
Tyson will always be remembered by his cousins, friends, colleagues and is now reunited with his best buddy and faithful canine companion Bauer.
Tyson was a Paramedic with Parry Sound EMS for 7 years and a Captain/Medical Training officer with the South River Machar Fire Department for over 10 years. While he struggled with PTSD, Tyson was empathetic, kind and compassionate.
The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Saturday August 23, 2025 from 3 to 5 pm.
A service to celebrate Tyson’s life will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 1:30pm on Sunday August 24, 2025 with Reverend Rick Callery officiating.
Interment in the South River Cemetery.
