MR. STEAD BURNS CROCKETT of Sundridge Veteran of WWII - RCAF Peacefully at Nipissing Manor in Corbeil on Friday September 1, 2017 at the age of 92. Stead Crockett, beloved husband of 56 years of Carolyn Crockett (nee Smith). Dear father of Kevin, Marty (Candace), Erick and Glenn (Bern). Loving Poppa of Kacey, Shawna, Brandon, Kyle, Ellen, Connor, Claudia, Amy, Quinton and great grandpa of 6. Cherished brother of Joan, Frances and Earl. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A private family graveside service will be conducted at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge. If desired, memorial donations to Knox Presbyterian Church (Sundridge) or Nipissing Manor would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
