MRS. RUBY CAROLINE LONEY Of South River Peacefully at the Grove Park Home in Barrie on Wednesday October 12, 2011 in her 91st year. Ruby Loney (nee Haggart), beloved wife of the late Richard Loney. Loving mother of Sharon Harrison (late John) and Cindy Thoma (Frank). Cherished grandmother of Jessica and Holly. Dear sister of Kathleen Meeks (Leland), Audrey Rody and predeceased by brothers Wilfred, Charles, Arthur (late Mable Peters) and sister Elsie Pinkerton (late Roger). Survived by sister-in-law Frances Haggart. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and many friends in the area. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel 9 Paget Street, Sundridge on Friday October 14, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Ruby Loney will be conducted at the Chalmers United Church, South River on Saturday October 15, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Joan Smith officiating. Interment at the South River Cemetery, South River. If desired, memorial donations to Alzheimer Society or the Grove Park Home would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
