MR. ROBERT GEORGE HARVEY Of Sundridge Peacefully surrounded by his family at the Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville on Tuesday January 7, 2014 in his 86th year. Bob Harvey, beloved husband of Marg Harvey (nee Blackmore) of Sundridge. Dear father of Dianne Irwin (Ken), Ron Harvey (Joan), Linda Schmidt (Dave), Terri-Lynn Neely (Glenn), Doug Harvey (Rhonda) and Laurie Burns (Stephen). Loving grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Olivia Piper and brother-in-law of Marion Harvey. Cherished friend of Bill Smith. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and his many friends in the area. Predeceased by his parents Alexander and Ethel, brother Ben, brother-in-law Bill Piper, daughter-in-law Joy and son David. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Friday January 10, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Bob Harvey will be conducted at the Sundridge Gospel Mission on Saturday January 11, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with Mr. Stephen Ramsay officiating. Spring interment at the Strong Cemetery in Sundridge. If desired, memorial donations to the Algonquin Grace Hospice or the Gideon's would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
