Robert William Gilson

Peacefully at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday September 4, 2024. Rob, beloved husband of Teresa, was in his 71st year.

Loving father of Brad (Glenda) and Charity (Ryan).

Proud grandfather of Lanie and Gustav (Emily).

Son of the late Gordon and Eilene Gilson and brother of Gord (Bonnie), late Doug, Sharon (Peter), Jim (Wendy), Lois (Ang), Steve (Shannon), Deb, Don, Jeanette (Bruce), Cynthia (Ariel).

Rob will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, other family and friends.

The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Sunday September 8, 2024, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8pm.

A service to celebrate Rob’s life will be conducted in Higher Heights Christian Fellowship Church, 79 Ottawa Avenue in South River on Monday September 9, 2024, commencing at 11:00 am with Reverend Rick Callery officiating. Cremation will follow.

If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
