RICK NELSON of Sprucedale Peacefully in his home on Tuesday February 21, 2017. Rick Nelson, beloved husband of Heather (nee Murphy), was in his 52nd year. Loving father of Krista Nelson. Dear son of Fay and Lloyd Nelson and is survived by his siblings; Steve, Glen (Julie), Kim (Karry) and Heather (Richard). Cherished son in law of John and the late Barb Murphy. Rick will be fondly remembered by all of his family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Thursday February 23, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday February 24, 2017 in the Faith Chapel, 63 Henry Street in Sprucedale from 10 to 11 a.m. A service to celebrate Rick's life will follow in the Faith Chapel in Sprucedale commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Friday February 24, 2017 with Pastor Don Nicholson officiating. If desired, memorial donations to Hospice Huntsville would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
