Rev. Dennis John Landry, to everything there is a season.  Dennis Landry, 77, passed into the spirit world on January 2, 2021.  He was born on July 3, 1943 in Espanola, Ontario to Eli and Mary Landry.  He married his high school sweetheart, Donna, 56 years ago.  They have two children Angela (Tom), David (Diane) and two grandsons Elijah and Xander.  He cherished his relationship with his sisters-in-law Lorie and late Melodie.
Dennis was ordained into the United Church of Canada in 1978.  He lived his ministry for his entire life in pastoral charges in Ontario and Newfoundland.  He loved life:  people, children, dogs, cats, Eagle Lake, Canal du Midi, fudge, music, curling, drama, puppets, extended family and a wealth of friends.
Those who wish to remember Dennis in a special way; may make a gift in his memory to the St. Andrew’s United Church Community Food Bank - Loaves and Fishes, or the North Bay Alzheimer’s Society.
His family wish to thank their many friends, their neighbours on Parsons Avenue, the staff at North Bay Regional Health Centre, and the North Bay Alzheimer’s Society.
Due to COVID restrictions a service of remembrance to celebrate the life of the late Dennis Landry will be conducted on Saturday July 3, 2021 at 2:30 P.M. at Zion United Church in Sundridge. For those wishing to attend virtually a Zoom link will be available by emailing a request  to by 9am Friday July 2, 2021.
Interment to follow at Bow's Cemetery in Machar Township.
Arrangements entrusted to Opatovsky-Moore Chapel Funeral Home Sundridge.

Please note: as per the current directive of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario attendance numbers will be restricted. COVID-19 protocols are in place and masks are mandatory.
