Rev. Neil Danny Steenson

Burks Falls

On January 28, 2024, Rev. Neil Danny Steenson was unexpectedly called home by his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Born February 1, 1958, chosen son of the late Daniel McFall Steenson and Marie Winifred Steenson (nee Henderson); husband of Sally Patricia Steenson (nee Gallinger); brother of Kathleen Marie Trottier (Yvan) and the late Daniel Henderson Steenson. Father of Bethany Joylynne Steenson, Kaileyann Rebecca Chretien (Jonathon), and Benjamin Gareth Steenson; proud and loving Grandfather of Imogen “Immie” Eloise Chretien and Matilda Ingrid Chretien. Neil was a graduate of Armour Heights P.S., Markham District H.S., Huron University College (University of Western Ontario), Tyndale Bible College, and Heritage Theological Seminary. His career focused on serving others and he pastored Kaslo Community Church, Arnstein Evangelical Baptist Church, Marchmont Baptist Church, and Renfrew Baptist Church. Neil will be cremated and buried in Chetwynd Cemetery, across from Chetwynd Community Church, where he was actively present and deeply loved. 

A Celebration of Life will take place at Chetwynd Community Church on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. followed by the interment at Chetwynd Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to World Vision.
