MR. RAYMOND SMITH of Huntsville and formerly of Sprucedale Peacefully at Muskoka Landing in Huntsville on Wednesday January 1, 2014. Ray Smith, beloved husband of Irene Smith (nee Kujala), was in his 85th year. Dear brother of Ronald Smith, Cecilia Gilpin, Violet Smith, Doris Peckham and predeceased by siblings Eleen, Verda, Olive, Clarence, Harvey and Orlah. Cherished uncle of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Ray will be fondly remembered by all of his family and friends, especially by his extended Kujala family. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Saturday January 4, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Ray Smith will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday January 4, 2014 with Reverend Nina Fulford officiating. Spring interment of cremated remains in the Sprucedale Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to Hospice Huntsville or the Sprucedale United Church would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
