Philip Victor Merson
August 2, 1941 — March 16, 2024
of Kearney
It is with heavy hearts the Merson family announces the passing of Philip on Saturday, March 16th, 2024 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Roxanne Merson. Cherished father of David (Justine) McKean, Tracey (Roy) Wintemute, Martin Merson, Allison (Justin) McKean, Nathan Russell and Veronica Merson. Proud grandfather and uncle to many. Sadly missed by his sister Lynne Merson Collins. Phil was a proud member of the Bracebridge Legion Pipe & Drums and the Kearney Legion Branch #276.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home -Dempster Chapel. Cremation has taken place at Forest Lawn Crematorium. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. If desired, donations to the Kearney Firefighter Association, the Burks Falls United Church for the chairlift project and/or building maintenance would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.Guestbook
