MR. PETER JORRITSMA (Pier) of Burk's Falls Peacefully at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Sunday February 1, 2015. Mr. Peter Jorritsma, beloved husband of Jeanne, was in his 93rd year. Dear father of James (Linda), Cathy (David), Anne (Antonio), Gregory (Barb), Bonnie and Edward. Proud grandfather of Bruce (Renata), Neil (Leslie), Alan (Sara), Jason, Daniel, Adam, Karin, Pierce and Tristan. Great grandfather to Catherine, Benjamin and Joel. Dear brother of Pey, Minta, Yetski and predeceased by siblings; Marten, Lutchen and Lisa. Peter will be fondly remembered by all of his family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Friday February 6, 2015 from 7 to 9 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Jorritsma will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday February 7, 2015 with David Woodall officiating. Spring interment in Burk's Falls Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family
