MR. NORMAN GEORGE GIBSON (of Dunchurch) Peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Saturday April 16, 2011 in his 83rd year. Norman Gibson, beloved husband of the late Loy Gibson (nee North). Dear father of Paul Gibson, Gail Brown (Bob), and Kathy McKinnon. Loving grandfather of Trisha (Dave), Rob (Angela), John, Cheryl (Dave), Sherri (Marty), Ashlea, Ryan, Amanda, Adam and treasured Poppy of Spencer. Predeceased by parents Robert and Ivy Gibson, sisters Etta and Viola, and brothers Harold, Mark, Arnold and Roy. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and friends. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Norman Gibson will be conducted at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street, Sundridge on Wednesday April 20 at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Robert Sweet officiating. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Spring interment at the Maple Island Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the West Parry Sound Health Centre, the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Parry Sound Minor Hockey League or the charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
