MRS. MYRTLE IRENE HUGHES Of Utterson and formerly of Burk's Falls Peacefully at Tudor Manor in Utterson on Saturday November 12, 2011 in her 94th year. Myrtle Hughes (nee Reeds), beloved wife of the late Herb Hughes. Dear mother of Irene King (Russ) of Fredericton, N.B. and Bill Hughes (Connie) of Burk's Falls. Loving grandmother of Tracy, Connie, Randy and great grandmother of Spencer, Riley and Sabrina. Cherished sister of Earl Reeds (Eleanor), Laura Vanderveer and predeceased by all of her other siblings. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Monday November 14, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Myrtle Hughes will be conducted in the chapel on Tuesday November 15, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with the Pastor Rick Callery officiating. Interment at the St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery in Emsdale. If desired, memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
