MRS. MARY PUTMAN (nee Phillips) of Magnetawan Peacefully at Muskoka Landing in Huntsville on Monday September 1, 2014. Mrs. Mary Putman, beloved wife of the late Glen Putman was in her 95th year. Dear mother of Phillip (late Jane), Richard (Katherine) and Wayne (Ann) and predeceased by daughter Cindy. Proud grandmother of Amanda, Jennifer (Rob), David, John (Alison), Sarah (Tim), Beth (Dan), Melissa, Glen (April). Great grandmother of 8 great grandchildren. Mary will be fondly remembered by all of her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Friday September 5, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Mary Putman will be conducted in St. George's Anglican Church in Magnetawan commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday September 6, 2014 with Reverend Edna Murdy officiating. Interment in the Chapman Cemetery in Magnetawan. If desired, donations to the Diabetes Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
