MARTHA VERA KENNEDY
(nee Hornibrook) of Sundridge

Peacefully at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Friday February 24, 2023.  Vera Kennedy, beloved wife of the late Frank, was in her 97th year.
Dear mother of Kevin and the late Melvin Kennedy.
Proud grandmother of Melisa Bolton (Darren), Michael Kennedy (Talitha) and Marc Kennedy (Bonnie) and great grandmother of Kyra, Karlee, Kaylee, Aiden, Maddison, Brooklyn, Sophie, and Joey.
Vera is predeceased by her parents; Thomas and Martha Hornibrook, 9 siblings and will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
The family will receive visitors at Zion United Church in Sundridge on Wednesday March 1, 2023, from 11 am until 1 pm.  A service to celebrate Vera’s life will follow at 1pm with Rev, Sandra Jenkinson officiating.
Spring interment in Strong Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel in Sundridge.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund, Zion United Church, or the Sundridge Horticultural Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
