It is with deep sadness that my brother Ross Wills and I announce the passing of our older sister Marilyn Wills Manchuk. Our sister was born in Hamilton on September 9, 1939. The first born child of our Mother and Father Ilean and Elvin Wills. Marilyn attended Bennetto Public School in Hamilton north end. At age 15 Marilyn had to leave school to care for her three siblings Ross Wills, Cheryl Wills, and newly born Valerie Wills. When our Mother recovered enough Marilyn started working at Cupidos Hardware and eventually Westinghouse. She met Stanley Manchuk in 1958 and they married in 1959. Two daughters followed to complete their family, Nadine and Adrienne. Stanley and Marilyn spent their married life living and working in both Canada and the USA. Finally returning to Canada in the late 1990’s. They settled into their final home on Rice Lane on the West Mountain of Hamilton. In 2023 Stanley had a bad fall and a broken hip brought him to long term care in Huntsville at Fairvern. Marilyn followed this past September moving to Kearney to live with our brother Ross Wills. This past June we sadly laid to rest our baby sister Valerie Wills and today Marilyn was welcomed into Valerie’s loving arms to be with our Mother and Father. Ross and I thank all of our friends and family who have supported us over this past week while we stood by Marilyn's side. We will miss her so much. A Celebration of Marilyn's Life will be held at the Kearney Community Center on Saturday January 3, 2026 at 11am.
