Lois Walsh

LOIS DOROTHY WALSH (nee Robinson) of Barrie and formerly of Emsdale Peacefully at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie on Thursday September 29, 2016. Lois Walsh, beloved wife of the late Bernard Fredrick Walsh, was in her 78th year. Loving mother of Frank Smith (Wendy Taylor) and Cauline Smith (David Watson). Dear stepmother of Lois Ann Walsh (Jorge), Heather Walsh and Karen Dickinson (John). Proud grandmother of Eryca, Julian, Brian, Scott (Candace) and Jeremy. Lois will be sadly missed by her brothers; Bill Robinson (Rita), Ken Robinson (Shirley), George Robinson, Rick Robinson (Joyce), her sister; Eileen Garrett (late Frank) and sister in law Huguette May (late Clarence). She is predeceased by her parents Herbert and Stella Robinson, brother Donald Robinson and sister Margaret Gratton (late Armand) and will be fondly remembered by all of her nieces, nephews, other family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Saturday October 8, 2016 from 11:00 am until 1:00 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Walsh will follow in the chapel commencing at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Howard Courtney officiating. Interment in Emsdale United Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to Hospice Simcoe, Barrie would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
