Peacefully at Mill Creek Care Centre in Barrie on Tuesday November 20, 2018. Lavina Minor, beloved wife of the late David Minor, was in her 94th year.
Dear mother of Marion Stevenson (Norm), Donna Violino (Reg), Carl Minor (Brenda), Linda Minor (late Rob), Allan Minor (Andrea Hofmann) and Rick Minor (Jennifer).
Proud grandmother of John, Kim, Laurie, Angela, Nakita, Brett, Chloe and 7 great grandchildren.
Lavina is predeceased by her parents; Fred and Jean Pemberton, her brother Joe Pemberton (late Eleanor) and will be fondly remembered by all of her family and friends.
The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Thursday November 29, 2018 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Lavina Minor will follow in the chapel commencing at 1:00 p.m. with Susan Peverley officiating. (service relocated due to power outage)
If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
