Peacefully at Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville on Thursday November 16, 2023. Ken, beloved husband of the late Joanne was in his 89th year.
Dear father of Wes McLaren, Debbie Sisel (Jeff) and Sandy Niemczak (Peter).
Proud grandfather of Victoria (Sam), Cody (Tracy), Chris (Jaimee), Nicole (Joe), Kenny, Jessica, Tyler, and Darcy.
Great grandfather of William and Harper.
Ken is survived by his brothers Archie (Marg) and Keith (Betty) McLaren and predeceased by his parents Angus and Martha McLaren as well as his 9 other siblings. He will be fondly remembered by all his nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Sunday November 19, 2023, from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 pm.
A service to celebrate Ken’s life will be conducted at Bethel Pentecostal Church, 15 Buck Haven Road, Sundridge commencing at 11am on Monday November 20, 2023 with Pastor Curtis Gudrie officiating.
Interment in Strong Cemetery, Sundridge.
