Peacefully at Algonquin Grace Hospice on Saturday August 10, 2024. Ken Barnes, beloved husband of the late Audrey Barnes, was in his 88th year.

Loving father of Judy Barnes, Ron Barnes, Janice Barnes (Sheldon Rivers), Angela Barnes (Jeff Maki) and the late Bob Barnes.

Proud grandfather of Ray, Ken, Kaelin, Carson, Andrew, Christian, Kelsey, Cody, Nikala, Shane, Kyra and great grandfather of Kayden, Liam and Brinley.

Ken will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls on Wednesday August 14, 2024, from 1pm to 2pm. A service to celebrate Ken’s life will follow in the chapel commencing at 2:00pm with Reverend Sylvia Poetschke officiating.

Interment in the Sprucedale Cemetery will follow.
