Emsdale

Keilan Patrick Steven Presley
of Emsdale

Suddenly in Sundridge on Thursday March 24, 2022. Keilan was in his 28th year.
Dear son of Janet Kitching (Peter Saunders) and the late Christopher (Clarence Harris) Presley and step grandson of Pauline Kitching and grandson of the late Joan Mary and Douglas Kitching.
Beloved brother of Jillian Presley (Matt Demire), Logan Presley (Blythe) and Steven Presley (Lindsay).
Proud uncle of Landen Presley, Dahlia Presley, and Aria Presley.
Keilan will be sadly missed, but never forgotten by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins from Newfoundland and Ontario, and his many good friends.
Keilan was born in Kingston ON on February 21, 1995. He resided in Arden ON, raised on a small hobby farm, Keilan was adored by his late “Aunt Patsy” the feeling was mutual as he spent a lot of time in her lap. He always looked forward to the yearly summer pool parties, Christmas celebrations and get togethers with his cousins and family at Nanny and Poppa’s in Toronto. In 1999 the family moved to Sundridge where Keilan was excited to start school that fall. He attended Sundridge P.S, South River P.S, then on to Land o Lakes in Burks Falls. Keilan excelled in sports, as a blue belt in Judo; he enjoyed many road trips for competition, and usually was very successful. After spending a few months in 2008 with his Aunt Sarah in Toronto, he moved to Sturgeon Falls where he attended Whitewoods P.S and Northern Secondary while living with his devoted sister Jillian. He entered the workforce early as a labourer, he also spent a few seasons working with Worlds Finest Carnivals where he met many of his good friends and got to do some travelling across Ontario. A kindhearted, passionate young man with an infectious smile; he enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding, cooking, making music with his friends, and was a bit of a gamer. Keilan had recently been studying online while recuperating from recent surgery, he had a plan, and as he recently said to his good friend Kyle “We are finally getting our shit together Bro”.
The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Saturday April 2, 2022, from 11am until 3pm.  Cremation will follow at the Forest Lawn Crematorium in North Bay.
If desired, donations in memory of Keilan to assist his family with these unexpected costs or to your local food bank would be sincerely appreciated.
