MRS. JOYCE ADELINE LONEY of Peterborough Joyce passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Wednesday June 4, 2014 in her 84th year. Joyce Loney (nee Williams), beloved wife of Garnet Loney of Peterborough, Ontario. Dear mother of April Simser (Steven) of Edmonton, Alberta and Lori Rapati (Joseph) of Peterborough, Ontario. Loving grandmother of Jeff Simser (Kandice) of Okotoks, Alberta, Jay Simser of Leduc, Alberta, Kevin Rapati of Peterborough, Ontario, Holly Broddy (Daniel) of Vancouver, British Columbia and great grandmother of Rylan, Aliyah and Micah. Cherished sister of Robert Williams of Oshawa, Ontario and predeceased by brother John Williams. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Wednesday June 11, 2014 from 10 - 11 A.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Joyce Loney will follow in the chapel at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Rick Callery officiating. A celebration of Joyce's life will be held at the Peterborough Free Methodist Church on Saturday June 14, 2014 from 1-3 P.M. Interment at the South River Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre- Palliative Care Unit would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
