Jon Kimber

JON CARL KIMBER of South River Peacefully at home on Monday December 15, 2014 at the age of 61. Jon Kimber, beloved husband of 40 years of Sandie Kimber (nee Foster). Dear father of Bryan Kimber (Stacey) and Dyane Brunton (Matt). Loving grandfather of Liam, Hannah, Benjamin, Emelia, Holly and Mya. Cherished brother of: Don, Paul (Lisa), Peter, Carol-Ann (Dan); brother-in-law of: Jo-Anne (Rick), Judy (Ken) and son-in-law of Doris Foster. Predeceased by his parents Margaret and George Kimber and father-in-law Blake Foster. Jon will be sadly missed by his best friend Gary Luchyshyn and will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and many students. The family invites everyone to celebrate Jon's life on Saturday December 27, 2014 from 1 - 4 P.M. at the Caswell Resort, 77 Main Street in Sundridge. Following Jon's wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Jon Kimber Trust Fund for Girls and Boys Hockey or to the South River - Machar Public Library would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
