JOHN "JACK" SMITH of South River Peacefully at his home on Monday June 19, 2017 in his 81st year. Jack Smith, beloved husband of Carol Smith (nee Wuilleme). Predeceased by his parents Sid and Cora Smith. Dear father of Cindy (Donnie), Steven (late Sarah), Yvonne (Brad), John, William and Marsha (Keith). Loving Papa of Braeden, Tori, Sydney, Trinity and Hunter. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Thursday June 22, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Jack Smith will be conducted in the chapel at 11:00 A.M. on Friday June 23, 2017 with Reverend Rick Callery officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Lung Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
