John Stanley Darling

Peacefully at home on Monday December 4, 2023.  John Darling, beloved husband of Joyce (nee White) was in his 82^nd year.

Dear father of Patrick (Palinee), Stephen and Jason (Lori).

Proud grandfather of Emmett, Cecilia and Garreth.

Survived by his brother Peter Darling (Diane) and predeceased by parents Stan and Mona Darling.

John, an avid golfer, car enthusiast, a Lion, a Jays fan…when they were winning; will be missed by all his family and friends.

The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls on Thursday December 7, 2023, from 6 to 8 pm.  A service to celebrate John’s life will be conducted in the funeral chapel commencing at 1:00 pm on Friday December 8, 2023, with Doreen Mason DLM officiating.

Interment in the Burk’s Falls Cemetery later.
