MR. JOHN BOWERS of Emsdale Peacefully at Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville on Friday March 27, 2015. Mr. John Bowers, beloved husband of Gloria (nee McEachern) was in his 75th year. Dear father of June Hebert and Daniel Bowers. Loving son of the late Isabella Goodwin and Allan William Bowers. Dear brother of Joan Timbers, Dianne Miller, Roy Bowers (Kelly) and predeceased by siblings: Margaret Astley, Marjorie Patchett, Isabelle Bowers and Bob Harris. John will be fondly remembered by all of his family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Friday April 3, 2015 from 1 to 4 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Bowers will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday April 4, 2015 with Reverend Richard McQuillin officiating. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Algonquin Grace Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
