IAN SMITH of Burk's Falls Peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Monday February 9, 2015. Ian Smith, common law partner of Debbie McLennan, was in his 67th year. Dear father of Kristan (Ephie), Kauri and Kayla (Ryan). Proud grandfather of Conner and Carsen. Ian will be fondly remembered by the McLennan family and all of his family and friends. Ian valued his community and all who live here. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Thursday February 12, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Lion's tribute service will be held in the funeral home Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Smith will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Friday February 13, 2015 with Doreen Mason DLM officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
