Hilda Jean Aho

Passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026 in Sundridge, she was in her 88th year. Beloved wife of Francis Aho. Cherished mother Colleen Ward (predeceased Thomas), Bonnie Aho, Lois Aho, Brian Aho and predeceased by her son Cecil Aho (Bernadette Laing). Proud grandmother of Anthony Ward, Alfie (Katelynn Taylor), Emma Story, Nathan Aho, David Currington and great-grandmother of Victoria Ward, Caden O’Brien-Currington and Noah Blackmore. Lovingly remembered by her siblings Shirley Frost (predeceased Jim), Linda Cottrell (predeceased George), William Evans (predeceased Cory), Debbie Evans and predeceased by her brother Don Dobbs (predeceased Marion). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Family will receive friends at the Opatovsky Funeral Home- Moore Chapel on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm. Burial will take place in the family plot at Pevensey Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations to a charity of choice would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
