MRS. HELEN KATALINE MAJOR (of Sundridge) Peacefully at Eastholme in Powassan on Wednesday December 15, 2010 in her 97th year. Helen Major, beloved wife of the late Joseph Major. Dear mother of Joe (Linda), Francis (Susan) and Helen (Glen). Loving grandmother of Clinton (Michelle), Shawna, Matthew, Brad, Tyler (Alison), Andrea and great grandmother of Nathaniel, Christian, Keifer and Tavin. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and many friends. A private family service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Helen Major will be conducted at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street Sundridge, on Saturday December 18, 2010 with the Pastor Rick Callery officiating. Spring interment at the Strong Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
