Hazel Jean Lydia Lower

Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton on Friday, July 26, 2024, she was in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Francis Roderick “Roy” Lower. Cherished mother of Brian Lower (Pat) and David Lower (Crystal). Proud grandmother of Terri Firlotte (Jarrod), Kelly Lower (Emily Jackson), Kevin Lower (Diana), Jason Lower (Sarah), D’Arcy Stokes (Tyler), Stacy Guay (“Bud” Michael) and great- grandmother of Josh Firlotte, Brynn Jackson, Cailyn Lower, Piper Jackson, Andi Stokes, Charlie Stokes, Evan Lower, Max Lower, Curtis Lower, Weston Stokes and Avery Guay. Hazel is predeceased by her parents Theophilus & Amy (nee Bulloke) Bagshaw, and her siblings William “Bill” Bagshaw (Beverly), Eva Booker and Frederick Bagshaw. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother in law Donald Booker and many nieces, nephews and extended family. 

A graveside service will be held at Pevensey Cemetery on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Opatovsky Funeral Home- Dempster Chapel. If desired, donations to a charity of choice would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
