Harvey Borne

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Sunday, May 10, 2026, he was in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Deborah Borne (nee Jeffery). Cherished father of Tammy MacInnis (Mike) and Jamie Borne (Nicole). Proud grandfather of Connor, Carson, Tanner, Maleah and Jayden.

Harvey will be remembered for his kind nature, and a friend to everyone he met. He played baseball for many years in the Almaguin Fastball League, where he was a pitcher — a role he truly loved. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, and, above all, spending time with his family.

Sadly missed by his siblings, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Cremation has taken place at Forest Lawn Crematorium. Arrangements are entrusted to Opatovsky Funeral Home – Dempster Chapel. If desired, donations to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
