Burk's Falls
Peacefully at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday September 16, 2026. Hank, beloved companion of June Simpson was in his 84th year.
Dear father of Kelly Lynn Sprong, Julie Gerdingh and Kevin Sprong.
Proud grandfather of Micheal, Maxime, Brandon, Parker and great grandfather of 8.
He is survived by his brother Alex, predeceased by his parents Martin and Nell and all his other siblings.
Hank fiercely loved his family and travel. He drove cab for Al’s Taxi; he was a people person and accomplished storyteller. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Details for a celebration of life will be announced later.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel in Burk’s Falls.
