MR. GORDON JAMES WATHEN of South River and formerly of Arden Peacefully at his home in South River on Wednesday December 11, 2013 in his 86th year. Gord Wathen, beloved husband of Georgina Wathen (nee Lloyd). Dear father of Linda Christensen, Laura Chesher (John) and Kris Micheal Frost (Dawna). Loving grandfather of Leah, Geoffrey, Adam (Jessamine), Jenna, Courtney and great grandfather of Cory, Terry and Lacey. Cherished brother of June Tomek, Roy Wathen and Margaret Wathen. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Gord Wathen will be conducted at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Saturday December 14, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Bill Meade officiating. Spring interment at the Bow's Cemetery in Machar Township. If desired, memorial donations to the Lung Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
