Gordon William Jaques

Passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, July 5, 2025, he was in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Barbara Jaques (nee Hubbert). Cherished father of Will (Carmen), Hal, Bonnie (Luke) and predeceased by his daughters Allyson & Andrea. Proud grandfather of Angus, Rogen, Beau, Levon & Lilia. Gord is survived by his brother Rob (Sue), sisters-in-law Margaret, Betty (Joe), brother-in-law Barry (Jan), Bill (Lori) and predeceased by his brother Henry. Lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to Opatovsky Funeral Home – Dempster Chapel. Family will receive friends at the Burks Falls United Church on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 10:30 am until the time of the Memorial Service at 12:30 pm. A Masonic Service of Remembrance will be held just prior to visitation, commencing at 10am in the church. If desired, donations to the Burks Falls United Church would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
