Gordon Elwood Benn "Gordie" of Emsdale, Ontario died peacefully at home with his family by his side on October 20, 2022, at the age of 85.

Loving Husband of Gail Benn. Dear Father to Frank and Debbie (Jimmy) and the late Jackie Malloy. Adored Grandfather to Trine, Nicole (Jamie), late Brent (Tracey), Tommy (Ditte) and Jannie. Cherished Great Grandfather to Oskar, Freya, Jasmin, Bryson, Grayden, Emily and Zilje. He will be fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews.

He will be celebrated privately by his family and friends and arrangements have been entrusted to Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel in Burk’s Falls.
