Ferne Agnes Louise MacIntosh

Passed away peacefully at Eastholme in Powassan on Friday, May 9, 2025, she was in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Stewart MacIntosh. Cherished mother of Eldon (Sue), Kirby (Sheri), Brady (Diana) and Shawn (Chantal). Proud grandmother of Andrea (Cory), Carissa (Josh), Miranda (Cody), Jennie (Liam), Jaime (Mark), Linden (Dave), Andrew, Taylor (Justin), Kristy (Dylan), Matt (Melina), Nate, Mack, Breanne and great-grandmother of Ethan, Raya, Ryker, Copelan, Kinsale, Bailee, Maggie, Lexi, Dekota, Tegan, Mattias,Conner, Brooks, Declan, Monroe, Lachlan, Sadie, Kallee, Arlo and Mikaela. Ferne is survived by her siblings Joy (Ross predeceased) and Allan (Carol predeceased). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Family will received friends at the Opatovsky Funeral Home- Moore Chapel on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 11am – 2 pm with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:30 pm. Interment at South River Cemetery. If desired, donations to Northern Cancer Research or the Covenant House would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions as sympathy.
