Elwood "Woody" Stack

Elwood passed away in hospital in his 97th year. Predeceased by his wife Bernice, brothers Grant (Joyce) & Ross. Loving father of Kevin (Dianne) and Kim. Proud grandfather of Malissa (James), Darren (Michele) and great-grandfather of Logan, Mila and Finneas. He will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Bev, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Elwood moved to Sundridge in August of 1941 with his parents, Thomas and Belle. In 1953 he became a driver for BA Petroleum moving to North Bay. Then in 1958 he moved his family back to Sundridge and took over as a BA agent. There he ran the business under a variety of names until his retirement in 1987. He continued to enjoy his retirement in his own home until this year.

A private graveside service will be held at Strong Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Opatovsky Funeral Home- Moore Chapel. If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
